Course introduction and description

This class introduces you to Database, meaning and concepts as well as its applications. In this course you will learn about the data view and data models.

You will learn about administrators, users and languages in Database. As you proceed further in your Database course you will learn about database designs, decomposition and normalization. In this course, you will also learn Structured Query Language (SQL).

This course will also give you an opportunity to know database System architectures and different types of server.

In computer science it is very essential to have a basic idea about the Database. Once you have a good command over the concepts of Database, those concepts will help you to advance in database.
